This class will leave you feeling longer, stronger and more open...as if you've just taken a deep breath for the first time--or as one student famously says at the end of every class, "...it's just got to be good for you!!!" Vinyasa means movement with breath, so this practice uses your breath to flow through each pose and from one pose to the next, and does so in a slow, meditative format. This yoga class includes a postures from various styles of vinyasa, including the 1st and 2nd series of Ashtanga. It’s a stimulating, vinyasa flow, which combines tempo and sequence, with breath, bandhas and drishti, creating an invigorating, lengthening and rejuvenating practice. Variations will be given to fit practitioners in intermediate and advanced levels of yoga. This class is not appropriate for beginners, experience in yoga is required.
